Exploring Dependent Co-Arising

Our Guiding Teacher Emeritus,
Will Lead our Discussion Centering on
(aka Dependent Origination) (aka Paticcasamuppāda)
which "… is central to Buddhism and makes it relatively unique. It describes how everything is
so embedded in a vast network of dependencies and nothing has a totally independent
essence. Too many explanations just list a bunch of links without looking at what’s
behind it all (and makes it sound overly fussy at the same time.)
This evening we’ll discuss why it is both nuanced and obvious once you get the hang of it. We’ll also look at how it shows itself in meditation and daily living.
